Did you know it is possible to make fresh nut milk in only 2 minutes? It's not only the fastest way, but also the most cheap, most easy and with the least mess. On top of this you will get a very creamy nut milk from any nut you would like.
What do you need?
- A nut butter of choice (our favorites for nut milk are almond or cashew, but you can use any. Even macadamia, hazelnut or pistachio)
- Filtered water
- A blender (best results with a powerful blender)
Optional:
- Organic coconut sugar
- Coconut oil
How does it work?
- For 1 liter of water use 70 grams of Nut Butter.
- Add to the blender
- Put on high speed for 2 minutes
DONE!
Will stay good for 3 days in the fridge.
TIPS
Would you like it more creamy? > Add more nut butter to get a thicker consistency.
Would you like it extra foamy? > Add coconut oil before blending. For one liter of nut milk we recommend 15 grams of coconut oil. You can use a milk frother to make it extra foamy.
Would you like it a bit sweeter? > Add some organic coconut sugar. We recommend 20 grams of coconut sugar.
Price of a liter of cashew milk
The price for 500ml cashew butter is fl. 25,-. When you use 70 grams of nut butter it will only cost you fl. 3.50 to make 1 liter of freshly made cashew milk.
Compared to supermarkets this is more than half of the price, plus it's clean and healthy, without all the additives most plant-based milk has.
