Master baker Nut House Bakery

As the Master Baker, you will play a pivotal role in crafting homemade, healthy snacks that delight our customers' taste buds. From mouthwatering banana bread to brownies, nut pies, nut butters, and bliss balls, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for baking. The master baker will be responsible for all homemade creations.  

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of products
  • Oversee the production of all homemade goods
  • Ensure that production is finished in a timely manner
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation, using large equipment such as mixers, oven, etc.
  • Quality management 
  • Plan weekly business orders
  • Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
  • Work closely with the owners on new recipes and ideas for assortment
  • Create better systems in the kitchen where needed
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Keep a clean environment
  • Able to take on tasks as needed, including washing dishes or taking on someone's station if they are out, we are a team and work together to get the job done!


  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, baking techniques, and equipment
  • Familiarity with the operations of the food industry
  • Experience working in a restaurant, bakery or similar establishment
  • Experience in preparing ingredients for cooking or baking

Skills and requirements

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to produce high-quality snacks and bakings in a timely manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Good communicator and ability to take/give constructive feedback
  • Ability to carry 23kg bags and boxes
  • Ability to stand 8 hours a day
  • Committed for long term
  • In possession of Sedula 
  • In possession of food handlers license
  • Fluent in at least two of the following languages: Papiamentu, English and Dutch
  • Plus: Experience with gluten free and vegan is a plus
